Serving 6-8 Adults (or 4 that eat a lot :P)
i called it Independence, because today it's Lebanon Independence. My Country
Ingredients i used:
950 grams of whole wheat flower
2 Teaspoon of natural yeast
2 Teaspoon of brown Sugar
1/2 Litre of water
1/2 cup of warm water
1 table spoon of Extra virgin Olive Oil
2 Teaspoon of Natural Sea Salt
freshly cut Basil
Corn
Chopped Garlic (3 pieces)
3 eggs
500 grams of Pomi Strained Crushed Tomato
200 grams mozarella Cheese
How i did it:
i took the 1/2 cup of warm (38 degrees Celcius) water, and put the yeast inside and the sugar, and gave it a stir.
i kept it for like 10-15 minutes until the it's nice and foamy.
then i take the 950 grams of flower and add oil to it, salt, and the yeast mixure and water... and i start to mix the ingredients together... until i get the dough. here you can add more flower or water.. depends on how you need.
for more info watch this video
after it has doubled in size: i knock it down, knock all the air out of it, and let it rise again.
after the second rise, put it on the table, and use a rolling pin, and out from the center...dust it with a little bit of flower so it doesn't stick
here's a video that will help you in this phase
when the dough is set in the Oven pan.. i put all around some Pomi Tomatos and String Cheese (i used
Shredded Cheese instead (it's my first pizza and i learn from my mistakes, so next time, i go for string cheese, because the cheese kind of disappeared)
Now i brush the dough with olive oil.. then i put chopped garlic and brush it in with the olive oil
then put the slices fresh tomatos like this
I forgot to tell you about the Pomi Sauce.. i mixed Chopped Onions With Chopped Olives and black pepper and some Herbs like Oregano and salt..mixed it and put it in that empty space in the middle of the Tomatos.
Now put 3 eggs in the center and put in the Oven for like 20 minutes, until the tomatos looks a bit cooked, or until the eggs look coagulated 80%.
it doesn't look good now, wait :)
25 cm hand span=10 inches ..the pizza is 40 cm.. 15.5 inches in Diameter |
That's all i could eat...and hardly... and i was very hungry. i usually eat double what a normal adult eats
Bon Apetit :)
